Carroll Baker
Nude

The bare fact about buxom blonde film star Carroll Baker is that she was simply too sexy for America. A talented and nuanced actress along with being a sugar-pie sexpot, she was touted as the next Marilyn Monroe. Baker chased the blonde-goddess star opposite James Dean in Giant (1956) and as the titular underage-but-awfully-ripe Baby Doll (1956). Carroll showed all the acting skills that Monroe arguably never had, but something about Baker’s sensuality was too sizzling for the Hollywood studio system. They didn’t dare create the roles she deserved, and in 1966 Carroll moved to Italy. Over the next two decades, she made roughly two dozen European films, flashing all the enticing best bits of her flesh in at least nine of them. Selected skinematography include L’ harem (Her Harem) (1967), a comedy-drama film that contains a distant shot of Carroll lying naked on a cliff, her right nip just barely visible, and Paranoia (AKA Orgasmo) (1970), a giallo film that gives us plenty of reasons to orgasm via close-ups on Carroll’s boobs and butt. Hungry for more? Bite into the witchy-vampy horror concoction Baba Yaga (1973) and become a babbling fan of full-frontal Carroll! Private Lesson (1975) is even more satiating, as it features an extreeeeeme close-up on Ms. Baker’s bush. There’s no vagine in La moglie vergine (AKA At Last, at Last) (1975) but we do see her beautiful breasts, and, in My Father’s Wife (1976), she bares both T and A. Carroll left the skin flicks in the late ’70s and returned to mainstream films like Star 80 (1983), Kindergarten Cop (1990), and The Game (1997).
